One friendly wheel, from quick picks to branded giveaways

Wheel of Names is a modern random picker for classrooms, streams, events, communities, and promotions. Start with readable sample entries, paste your own list, or let people join through a shareable wheel.

When a giveaway includes prizes, entrants and prizes can live on one concentric wheel. Spin the rings separately, keep a clear record of the selected entrant and prize, and customize the presentation to match your brand.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use Wheel of Names?

Import or paste your names, customize the wheel, and press Spin to pick a random name. Each new line can become a separate entry.

Can I add prizes and entrants to one wheel?

Yes. Enable Add Prizes to create a concentric wheel with entrants on the outer ring and prizes on the inner ring. Each ring spins independently.

Can I brand and embed the wheel?

Yes. You can change the logo, colors, fonts, text size, center hub, rim, pointer, and page styling, then embed the wheel in another website.

Can I import an existing list?

Yes. Import line-by-line text or JSON and choose whether the import replaces the current list or adds to it.

Does the wheel support weighted entries?

Yes. Entries can have different weights, while text can remain evenly spaced for readability or follow the entry weights.

Is there an API?

Yes. The API supports creating wheels, managing entries and settings, embedding branded wheels, and recording draw results. Open the Docs panel for examples.
